The North East Region of Malaga (Nororma) enjoys a privileged geographical location between Granada and Córdoba, providing a hub of communications between these provinces and Seville.
The area is a land of olive groves and pastures where holm oak woods stand shoulder to shoulder with fields of cereal crops. The region boasts a wealth of natural resources, notably the lagoons of Archidona, La Grande and La Chica, and archaeological sites such as El Cortijo de San Vicente, Samiaja, La Cueva de las Grajas, La Necrópolis de los Alcaides and La Cueva de Arcos, to name but a few.
